Your Financial Future is Being Hijacked

There is not much you can do about what is happening as a whole – the only thing you can do is produce /sell more of what you have to offer. You got to be willing to put your competition out of business as there will not be enough for all of you.

Marionette. The following applies to all people in this country and on this planet, even though my experience mainly lies in helping dentists and doctors and small business owners to become successful, the problems and solutions talked about are heavily applicable to everyone.

First you need to know one of my fundamental beliefs:

When a person sees something which is obviously wrong – even though only in his viewpoint - he better speaks out and channels his energy to right the wrong.

Usually this can only be done by making the rest of the people aware of what is happening and help them fixing the situation for them.

One also should simply withdraw support from the people who cause the wrong.

This is what Gandhi did – just stop playing “those people’s games”. Don’t participate, don’t support what you do not wish to support and things will set themselves right again.

I believe that one must stand up for such things regardless of immediate personal or family danger.

Sounds radical? Sounds dangerous?

If New Patients are Not Coming into Your Business, Bring Your Business to them

As practice owners ponder about what is the most effective way of increasing new patients, they often miss a very important point.

If there is not enough business into your door, then there are simply not enough people knowing about your business — no matter how little or much marketing you claim to have done.

‘Bringing the business to the people’ does not apply just to location. It means to do everything you can to get your goodwill and expert messages to many many people who will eventually seek you for your services.

But to do that, you have to use any and all marketing tools to reach the new patients you want to reach consistently by being in front of them through marketing all the time (stay in their sight) and thus staying in their mind.

“How to Attract New Patients Without Diminishing Professional Image?” Asked by Dr. Charles

Dear Dr Charles,

I have received your question about attracting new patients without diminishing your professional image. You are concerned about the ‘proper’ dental marketing image presented of your dental office.

You are one of the many doctors who are concerned about this issue and so I thought I give you a full reply on the issue of maintenance of a professional image in marketing.

Most dentist and also many other professions from all walks of life (plastic surgeons top this list) believe that a beautiful, elegant, high tech, high class, professional marketing piece, - be it a flyer, a postcard, a letter and definitely a web site, translates into high class patients and into branding themselves as a high class or professional dentist.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

First of all what is pretty is pretty ONLY in the eye of the beholder. This applies to elegant, smooth, beautiful and even high tech.

It specifically applies to the overused term “professional”.

Let’s look at what that means.

Medical and Dental Practice Management: Letting Other People Pay for your Marketing

A number of medical and dental practice management consultants have missed a very vital part of growing a practice. If a dentist only knows how to rely on internal marketing  for new patients, or only uses traditional dental advertising tools, he will find that his outlay of efforts will not bring in the beans that he is expecting.

Look at it this way for a moment:

  • You do not build your own road but use the roads which are already built.
  •

  • Even if you are a car mechanic, and some real good engineer, you do not build your own car, but you have it built.
  •

  • When traveling you only put yourself on a bus/train/airplane/ship etc. that has pre-existing routes to your destination, you do not build a new vehicle and create a new route.

So why the dickens would you want to build your own marketing avenues?

Why not put your message on channels and media that are already in existence and which will carry your message for free or at the very least with very, very little money?

Here are a few examples on how to have other people and companies and organizations distribute your message for free or for little.

How to Use Blue Tooth Marketing for your Health Care Practice or any Other Small Business which Operates in a Local Market

First you might want to know what blue tooth marketing actually is and how it works in principle on a technical level.

These days about 85 percent of all phones are blue tooth enabled. This does not mean that the user is actually using the blue tooth, but it means that the phone has the capability to be paired with a blue tooth. In short it can receive the signal.

A new device is now available on the market called “Instant Text Ping” which will signal all Bluetooth enabled phones in a particular area.

This device will send a message without needing the phone number to any blue tooth enabled phone in an approximate range of 100 ft, which the receiver can accept or decline.

If the prospect declines he will never be bothered by us (you) again.

If he accepts, then well he is interested in your offer and the possibilities are almost endless.

  • By the way you do NOT pay for sending a message and the receiver does NOT pay anything either.

  • You do NOT even need a normal cell phone signal as your message does not use any phone carrier but speaks directly to the phone.
  •

  • You also are NOT stealing the person’s identity such a phone number etc, but only can connect to the phone if it is in YOUR range of broadcasting.
  •

  • It’s a bit like radio where you will receive only when you are in range. The only big difference is that in our case the person can actually respond IF he or she is interested.

Medical and Dental Marketing For New Patients: How Much Business Do You Want To Do?

Group of ambitious people celebrating success

Having worked with many doctors and dentists, I discovered that many medical and dental practice management consultants do not differentiate the departments of dental marketing, dental public relations and dental advertising.
Marketing, Public Relations, and Advertising are three big misunderstood words for most of all business people and people in general.

Who am I, Helmut Flasch, to say that?

Simple, 98% of all people in this country retire broke at age 65.

Sure, you say, that is because of the government, taxes, the economy, etc. Maybe you even say, “Well, that is life and only the crooks survive well.”

I agree, after all “success is a matter of luck, just ask any failure”.

So I hope I got your attention. Let’s talk about marketing.

Think Differently

As most business owners and doctors consider implementing NEW practice management and marketing ideas in their practices, a nagging question will come up,  ”Has this business idea been done in my field?” “What is the guarantee that this practice marketing technique will work?”

We also want to know whether other dentists, orthodontists, chiropractors, internists, plastic surgeons, podiatrists, optometrists, opthalmologists, heart surgeons, obgyns etc etc etc might have succeeded already with the same marketing and business idea.

Very few people want to be ‘the first one’ to implement a business idea.

This video below is an 1997 ad for Apple computers.

Beyond that is a message which many business and practice owners could relate to: thinking differently may not be as popular as conformity but in the end, it may be what will heave your business to the next high high level!

Enjoy the video - let’s think differently!

If you would like learn how to promote for new patients differently than what you have been taught from medical and dental practice management consultants and from medical and dental advertising sales people, and doing all marketing without depending on your own money and time, attend our ‘different’ medical and dental internet marketing live training. “How to Attract A Truckload of New Patients in 7 Days or Less”

I guarantee that you will find some ‘different’ marketing ideas there. :)
